Norman Surplus, owner of the first Rotax 914UL powered  MT-03 in the UK has started the first around-the-world flight in a Rotorsport MT-03 Gyroplane.  He left the UK in March but suffered an unfortunate setback in Thailand.  RSUK is endeavouring to repair Norman’s aircraft in Thailand and hope to get him on his way by the end of July.

 

The journey is raising money and awareness for cancer research.

It’s all just an ugly rumour!

 

Some web forums have recently suggested that the AutoGyro or RotorSport MTseries gyroplanes have been 'grounded', in the UK or in South Africa. This is completely untrue, and furthermore there is no suggestion or discussion with any Authority with this in mind.
