Technical Support
Rotorsport gyroplanes work best when they receive the finest level of technical care.
Your gyroplane can receive the care it needs either at our purpose built workshops, or from one of the independent engineers who have attended our airframe course.
The list shows details of Engineers authorised by the CAA to work on the Rotorsport MTseries aircraft airframe.
It is the aircraft owner’s responsibility to ensure that any engineer has the relevant qualifications, approval and insurance.
Engineers authorised by the CAA to work on RSUK gyroplanes
Authorised service engineers for Woodcomp SR3000 VP prop are Gerry Speich at RSUK, Graham Shackleeton, John Hereward, Nick Seymour and Kevin Robinson.
All permit aircraft must have their permit renewed annually. We advise that the renewal process be started at least 6 weeks before the permit expires. See the list for advice and application forms.
Permit renewal a pain in the backside? Then bring your aircraft to RSUK -
Continued airworthiness
RSUK generated service bulletins etc are on the owners’ pages. It is the owner’s responsibility to keep up to date with the latest issues.
However it is not RSUK’s responsibility to keep owners informed about Mandatory Permit Directives. These should be checked on a regular basis.
As of 1st April 2012, the CAA permit renewal application fee is £258.
